Warren was born in Hickory, North Carolina and graduated from Tulane University. He graduated from Wake Forrest University School of Law in 1982 and joined Sigmon Clark in 1983. Warren regularly represents clients from western North Carolina and across the state in land condemnation and business litigation including non-compete contract claims. His practice is focused in civil litigation. His experience as business counsel brings a unique perspective to the representation of his clients in the trial of all types of business related matters. Warren also spends a significant amount of time representing landowners in condemnation cases against the North Carolina Department of Transportation and other condemning authorities such as cities, counties and utility companies. Warren is a member of the Catawba County Bar Association, the 25th Judicial District Bar Association, where he has served as President, and the North Carolina Bar Association. He has practiced in all state court, divisions, The North Carolina Supreme Court and the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Warren has also practiced before the United States Supreme Court, and the Western, and Middle Districts of the United States Federal Court.
