Jason was raised in Alexander County and graduated from Alexander Central High School in 1995.  He attended the University of North Carolina - Asheville where he played baseball and graduated with a political science degree in 1999.  He attended law school at Campbell University and graduated in 2003.  He joined Sigmon Clark in 2003.  He and his wife Sarah live in Hickory with daughters, Mebane (3) and Harper (15 months) where they are members of First Presbyterian Church.
